The short answer: adults-only all-inclusive resorts are rare in Morocco: we could confirm five. On the coast, TUI BLUE Riu Tikida Beach sits on Agadir's beach and Pickalbatros White Beach Resort on the coast north of the city, toward Taghazout. In Marrakech, TUI BLUE Medina Gardens is inside the medina, while TUI BLUE Riu Tikida Garden and Be Live Collection Marrakech Adults Only are in the Palmeraie. All five set the minimum age at 16, not 18 or 21 (for Be Live, the age comes from booking platforms). Expect quieter pools and no kids' club, but not an empty resort: the bars, the shows and the buffet are still there. To pick the coast first, see our comparison of Morocco's beach coasts and where to stay on each.

How we put this together. We searched the official websites of the main resort brands in Morocco for an adults-only policy, on October 27, 2026, and kept only the resorts whose own site states one; booking platforms filled in the check-in age, and the minimum age where the hotel's page leaves it out. None of these resorts has been reviewed in person yet, and we publish no guest scores. If a resort is missing, it is because we could not confirm its age policy, not because we ranked it lower.

Key takeaways

  • In Morocco, adults-only all-inclusive resorts set the minimum guest age at 16, not 18 or 21: TUI BLUE's three Moroccan hotels and Pickalbatros White Beach Resort state it on their own websites, as of October 2026.
  • Morocco has only a handful of adults-only all-inclusive resorts, in Agadir, on the coast toward Taghazout, and in Marrakech's medina and Palmeraie.
  • Booking platforms list a minimum check-in age of 18 at TUI BLUE Riu Tikida Beach and TUI BLUE Riu Tikida Garden, so the guest who holds the booking must be an adult.
  • An adults-only resort in Morocco removes the kids' club and the children's pool, but keeps the buffets, bars, evening shows and activities of an all-inclusive.
  • TUI BLUE Riu Tikida Beach in Agadir shares its road and its beach with two family resorts from the same group, so the beach is not adults-only.

What "adults-only" means in Morocco

You may expect adults-only to mean 18 and over. In Morocco, the resorts that state a policy set it at 16, and the difference matters if you are traveling with a teenager, or hoping not to see one.

Resort Area Minimum age Where it is stated
TUI BLUE Riu Tikida Beach Agadir, on the beach 16 TUI BLUE website; RIU's own page says "Adults Only" with no age
TUI BLUE Riu Tikida Garden Marrakech, Palmeraie 16 TUI BLUE website; spa and gym also 16+
TUI BLUE Medina Gardens Marrakech, medina 16 TUI BLUE website
Pickalbatros White Beach Resort Coast north of Agadir, toward Taghazout 16 Pickalbatros website
Be Live Collection Marrakech Adults Only Marrakech, Palmeraie 16 "Adults Only" on Be Live's website; age on booking platforms
Robinson Agadir Agadir, on the beach All ages; spa 16+ Robinson website
Club Med Marrakech, the Riad Marrakech, Palmeraie Not stated as adults-only Club Med website

The Agadir hotel is sold under two names: Riu Tikida Beach on RIU's website and TUI BLUE Riu Tikida Beach on TUI's. It is the same property, at the same address on Chemin des Dunes, so do not book it twice thinking you are comparing two resorts.

A quiet section is not an adults-only resort. Club Med Marrakech La Palmeraie has an Exclusive Collection area called the Riad, with its own pool, bar and lounge. Some travel agents describe it as quiet, but Club Med's own page does not call it adults-only, and the resort runs kids' clubs up to 17. Ask before you book it for that reason.

What changes when there are no children

The format stays all-inclusive: buffet and themed restaurants, bars, pools, a daytime activity program and evening entertainment. What changes is the soundtrack and the timetable.

At a family resort At an adults-only resort
Kids' club, mini disco, children's pool None of these
Splashing and games at the main pool Quieter pools, more loungers free
Buffets shared with children Buffets and dinners among adults
Evening shows for all ages Shows and bars aimed at adults
Spa sometimes restricted to adults Spa, gym and pools for 16+ only

What does not change: the resorts are large, the bars and the evening program are still there, and on a beach shared with other hotels, you will see families. If what you want is silence and a dozen rooms, an all-inclusive resort is the wrong format, adults-only or not; a riad is closer to it, and our guide to where to stay in Marrakech for couples matches the neighborhood to the kind of trip you have in mind.

Adults-only all-inclusive in Agadir, Taghazout and Marrakech

Agadir bay

Agadir bay

Best for a beach week for two

  • Resort opens straight onto the sand
  • Two outdoor pools, one heated in winter
  • Shares the beach with family resorts
  • About 45 minutes from the airport
Marrakech Palmeraie

Marrakech Palmeraie

Best for pool days plus the city

  • About 7 km from Marrakech airport
  • Shuttle to the city center included
  • No beach
  • Pools close at 6 p.m.

TUI BLUE Riu Tikida Beach, Agadir

This is the beach option. The resort sits directly on Agadir's long sandy beach, with a reserved section for its guests, and lists two outdoor pools, one of them heated in winter. A Thalassotherapy Centre adds a heated seawater indoor pool, which costs extra, as do the steam bath, the hammam and some à la carte dinners.

Know the neighbors. RIU runs two family hotels on the same road, Riu Tikida Dunas and Riu Palace Tikida Agadir, both with a kids' club. Inside the gates, you are among adults; on the sand, the beach belongs to everyone. For a day away from both, compare Paradise Valley tours from Agadir.

Pickalbatros White Beach Resort, toward Taghazout

This is the second coastal option, outside the city. Its address is given as 18 km, Taghazout, about a 30-minute drive from Agadir's center according to the resort, which sells an "ultra all-inclusive" plan and lists six outdoor pools and an indoor pool with three whirlpools. The page states that the resort is designed exclusively for adults aged 16 and over, though its page title also uses the label "Adults Friendly - Ultra All Inclusive", which the page does not define: confirm the policy for your dates when you book.

Two things the official page leaves out: whether the resort opens straight onto the sand, and the drive from the airport. Ask about both, since Agadir's airport lies southeast of the city and this resort is to the north.

TUI BLUE Riu Tikida Garden, Marrakech

This is the garden option, on the Circuit de la Palmeraie about 3 km from the town center and 7 km from the airport, according to the hotel. It lists four pools, the largest 36 by 18 meters, open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The all-inclusive bracelet is mandatory, and the plan includes a shuttle to the city center, so a medina evening costs you nothing in transport.

The spa has its own 16+ rule, an indoor pool, a hammam and a sauna; massages and the sauna are booked and paid on site. In July and August, ask how much shade the pools get in the afternoon.

Be Live Collection Marrakech Adults Only, Palmeraie

The second Palmeraie option, on the Route de Fès. Be Live presents it as a five-star adults-only hotel with all-inclusive service, and booking platforms turn away guests under 16. The hotel's datasheet gives about 6 km to the old town and about 13 km to the airport, two pools with one heated in winter, swim-up rooms, and a free daily shuttle to the city center that you book at reception.

TUI BLUE Medina Gardens, inside the medina

This is the exception to the rule that all-inclusive and the medina do not mix. TUI BLUE places it in Marrakech's medina, about 1 km from Jemaa el-Fna square, with an all-inclusive plan, a mandatory bracelet and a 16+ policy. One pool is heated from early November to the end of March, and the pools open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The airport is about 6 to 7 km away, roughly 20 minutes, according to the hotel.

The trade-off is the one every Marrakech all-inclusive faces, sharper here: the medina's restaurants are a walk away, and each dinner out is one you have already paid for. Pick it if you want the souks on foot and the pool in the afternoon, and plan to eat in most nights.

Adults-only or a regular all-inclusive?

The choice comes down to who you travel with and how much the kids' noise would bother you. For what any all-inclusive plan covers and what costs extra, see our explainer on Morocco all-inclusive resorts.

You are… Adults-only? Our take
A couple on a honeymoon Yes Quieter pools, adult evenings; check the beach is shared
Friends traveling together Yes Bars and shows aimed at adults
Traveling with a 16 or 17-year-old Possible Allowed at 16+; an adult must check in
Light sleepers Maybe Fewer kids, but the bars and shows stay
Travelers outside school holidays Not essential Family resorts are calmer out of season
Travelers who want small and silent No A riad suits you better than any resort

Time your trip, not just your resort. At any family resort, the number of children rises during school holidays. Outside them, a regular all-inclusive can be calm enough, and you keep a wider choice of hotels.

FAQ

Are there adults-only all-inclusive resorts in Morocco?

Yes, a handful. As of October 2026, we confirmed five: TUI BLUE Riu Tikida Beach in Agadir, Pickalbatros White Beach Resort on the coast toward Taghazout, and in Marrakech TUI BLUE Medina Gardens, TUI BLUE Riu Tikida Garden and Be Live Collection Marrakech Adults Only. All take guests aged 16 and over.

What is the minimum age at adults-only resorts in Morocco?

16 at the five resorts above. Booking platforms add a minimum check-in age of 18 at the two Riu Tikida hotels.

Can I bring my 16-year-old to an adults-only resort in Morocco?

Yes, at the resorts above, as long as an adult holds the booking and checks in. Confirm with the hotel before paying.

Are Morocco resorts good for couples?

Yes, for a beach or pool week. An adults-only resort in Agadir, toward Taghazout or in Marrakech gives you quieter pools; for a stay built around Marrakech itself, a riad in the medina suits most couples better.

Is Agadir or Marrakech better for an adults-only resort?

Agadir, if you want the beach outside the gate. Marrakech, if you want pool days and evenings in the souks: the Palmeraie resorts run shuttles into town, and TUI BLUE Medina Gardens puts you inside the medina.
