The short answer: the best all-inclusive resorts in Morocco for families are in Agadir, on the beach, and in the Palmeraie district of Marrakech, by the pool. Choose on four points: a kids' club that takes your child's age, a room that sleeps all of you, a shallow pool, and a short drive from the airport. Robinson Agadir and Club Med Marrakech La Palmeraie publish the clearest details on all four, as of October 2026. For the choice of coast first, see our guide to Morocco's beach coasts and where to stay on each.

How we put this together. The kids' club ages, room sizes and pool depths below come from each resort's own website, read on October 27, 2026, or from a tour operator listing when the official page could not be read; we say which. We have not stayed at these resorts with children, and we publish no guest scores. Club hours and age bands change by season: confirm them for your dates.

Key takeaways

  • Agadir and the Palmeraie district of Marrakech have Morocco's main family all-inclusive resorts; Agadir adds a beach.
  • Club Med Marrakech La Palmeraie includes children's clubs from 4 months to 17 years in its package, according to its website in October 2026.
  • Robinson Agadir runs kids' clubs for ages 3 to 17 and lists a children's pool 50 cm deep and family rooms of about 66 m² made of two connected rooms.
  • At several Agadir resorts, the online room list shows only doubles and junior suites, so families of four should confirm in writing that the room fits everyone.
  • Some all-inclusive resorts in Morocco, such as TUI BLUE Riu Tikida Beach in Agadir and TUI BLUE Riu Tikida Garden in Marrakech, take guests aged 16 and over only, so families with younger children should rule them out.

Kids' clubs: ages, and what you pay for

The club is the reason most parents book all-inclusive. What you need to know is who it takes, from what age, and whether it is in the price. For what the plan covers beyond the kids, meals and drinks especially, see our explainer on what Morocco's all-inclusive resorts include, and where to find them.

Resort Area Club Ages published Included?
Club Med Marrakech La Palmeraie Palmeraie Baby, Petit, Mini, Teens clubs 4 months to 17 years Clubs listed in the package; ask about the youngest groups
Robinson Agadir Agadir ROBY CLUB, R.O.B.Y., ROBS 3–6, 7–12, 13–17 Clubs listed; babysitting £14 (about $19) an hour

Robinson starts supervised care at 3, though it offers baby equipment from birth. If your child is under 3 and you want a club, Club Med is the only resort here that publishes groups for babies and toddlers. Its page does not say whether those first groups cost extra: ask before you book.

Ask the club hours, not just the ages. Robinson says on its Agadir page that its ROBY CLUB opens six days a week, in three time slots between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. A club that closes one day, or at lunchtime, changes how much time you actually get by the pool.

Family rooms: will four of you fit?

This is where families get caught. Many resort rooms are built for two, and the third and fourth beds are a sofa or a cot.

Resort Family option published Sleeps
Robinson Agadir Family Double Room Classic, two connected rooms, about 66 m² Up to 4 adults, 2 children aged 2–14 and an infant
Robinson Agadir Suite Classic Sea View, two bedrooms, about 105 m² Up to 4 adults and 1 child aged 2–14
Club Med Marrakech Family Oasis rooms, in the Ksar family area Occupancy not stated on the page
Riu Tikida Dunas Double, Double Standard, Junior Suite Occupancy not stated on the page

Robinson also lists a room for one adult traveling with one or two children, in limited numbers. Single parents rarely see that option written down: ask for it by name.

"Family room" is not a standard size. Ask the resort how many real beds are in the room, whether a cot is free, and whether two connecting rooms can be guaranteed or only requested.

Pools that work for small children

A big pool is not a family pool. What a toddler needs is shallow water, and what a parent needs is a pool you can see from a lounger.

Robinson Agadir publishes the most detail: a children's pool 50 cm deep beside the lower outdoor pool, two outdoor pools heated to 24–26°C and an indoor pool at 27–28°C. Heating matters for small children outside the hottest months. Club Med Marrakech has a family pool in its Ksar area and kids' pools, and both RIU family hotels in Agadir list a kids' pool and an indoor pool.

In Marrakech, the pool is the whole beach, and summer afternoons are hot: ask how much shade there is around the kids' pool.

The airport transfer: the hour that counts most

Thirty minutes in a car is nothing for adults and a lot for a toddler after a long flight. Morocco's family resorts keep that drive under an hour.

Resort area Airport Published distance or time
Palmeraie, Marrakech Marrakech Menara 20–30 minutes to Club Med, depending on traffic
Agadir bay Agadir Al Massira About 25 km to the RIU hotels; Robinson gives 23.5 to 30 km and 30 to 35 minutes
Saïdia Oujda About 50 km to Meliá Saïdia Beach

Book the transfer before you fly, ask for a car seat in writing, and check that the driver will wait if your bags are late.

FAQ

Which all-inclusive resorts in Morocco have kids' clubs?

Club Med Marrakech La Palmeraie, Robinson Agadir, Riu Palace Tikida Agadir, Riu Tikida Dunas and Iberostar Waves Founty Beach all list a kids' club, as of October 2026. Only Club Med and Robinson publish the ages.

Are kids' clubs included in all-inclusive resorts in Morocco?

Usually, but check. Club Med Marrakech lists its clubs in the package; Robinson Agadir lists its clubs and charges £14 an hour for babysitting, about $19 at October 2026 exchange rates.

Is Agadir or Marrakech better for kids?

Agadir, for a beach holiday with a short transfer. Marrakech's Palmeraie works if you want a pool resort with a couple of trips into the medina.

Is Morocco good for a family beach holiday?

Yes, in Agadir especially, where several resorts with kids' clubs sit on one long sandy beach. The Atlantic is cooler than the Mediterranean, so heated pools help.

How far are Agadir's family resorts from the airport?

About 24 to 30 km from Agadir Al Massira, around 30 to 45 minutes by car, according to the resorts' own websites.
